
Breakfast Bowl
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups shredded potatoes (hash browns)
- 4 large eggs (beaten)
- 4 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 4 breakfast sausage links (cooked and sliced)
- 1 small onion (sautéed)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the Hash Browns:
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the shredded potatoes to the skillet and spread them out evenly. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Eggs:
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sauté the Onions:
- In a separate small pan, sauté the onions over medium heat until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Assemble the Breakfast Bowl:
- In individual bowls, layer the crispy hash browns as the base.
- Top the hash browns with scrambled eggs.
- Add the crumbled bacon, sliced sausage, and sautéed onions on top of the eggs.
- Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of each bowl.
- Serve:
- Serve the breakfast bowls hot, allowing the cheese to melt slightly over the warm ingredients.
