Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups shredded potatoes (hash browns)
  • 4 large eggs (beaten)
  • 4 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 4 breakfast sausage links (cooked and sliced)
  • 1 small onion (sautéed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Hash Browns:
    • In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
    • Add the shredded potatoes to the skillet and spread them out evenly. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
    • Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the Eggs:
    • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
    • Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Sauté the Onions:
    • In a separate small pan, sauté the onions over medium heat until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Breakfast Bowl:
    • In individual bowls, layer the crispy hash browns as the base.
    • Top the hash browns with scrambled eggs.
    • Add the crumbled bacon, sliced sausage, and sautéed onions on top of the eggs.
  5. Add Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of each bowl.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the breakfast bowls hot, allowing the cheese to melt slightly over the warm ingredients.
